The day they show up is always fun, to see every step of the work being done from excavation to foaming, installing re-bar, to pouring concrete its like watching a well oil machine, everyone knows their job and timing is everything. It amazes me that you can show up looking at a empty lot and in hours have yourself a garage pad poured and finished . Well Done Striking Concrete!

Had them come out and seal my aggregate driveway and rear patio. Work was done well, right on time and charged what was quoted. Couldn't ask for more.
We built our home brand new 6 years ago. Over time the freezing and thawing caused our driveway to crack, heave and sink. This spring we started researching and meeting with a number of concrete companies to demo and replace our driveway. In addition we wanted to pour a new concrete sidewalk along the house and pad in our yard.
I began meeting with a number of concrete companies. After I met with Tony (owner) I had a confident feeling. Since I had narrowed down my choice of contractors to two companies I asked Tony to come out again and meet with my husband. Tony had no issues coming out again and working around our schedule, which can be hectic with work and two small kids. After meeting with Tony my husband also felt confident in hiring Striking for the job.
My husband and I felt an extra sense of comfort having a family run company with many years of experience do the job. It was amazing to see not only Tony; but, his father and grandfather physically working on the job with their crew.
Our only complaint would be in communication. They gave us a date to start the demolition. There was a delay in another job. We understand things happen. However, we did not hear from the company to let us know why they were not there. My husband took a day off work and I made alternate arrangements for my day. Our job ended up being pushed back to the next day. In addition, they ended up pouring our driveway a day earlier then originally planned. We were not notified of the change but happy that we happened to be home when they showed up.
Overall they did a great job and we are very pleased with the results. The crew was very nice. Tony was great to work with and addressed all our questions and concerns. Anna was amazing at dealing with our numerous quotes and adjustments. Her competence and promptness was appreciated.
